I was awarded Lafayette Forest WEA for wild Hog this year. I know it is near Mayo /Branford, but I have searched high and low on MYFWC and google and am unable to get directions to get there. The WMA Map only shows roads that are not on Google or MapQuest(dirt roads?). It does show Route 349 running alongside eastern border, but am unable to place it exactly nor spot it on satellite either.

I put in 12 chances for that hunt...10 for the middle gun came in 131 in line for that one n5 chances for first archery hunt came in 69 in line for that...when i got drawn couple years back i put in only 5 chances...i know when i went for that hunt guys were talkin about spendin over a thousand dollars just in application fees...crazy

I'm pretty sure the entrance is at Hunt Club and 349. Judging by rough trails on satellite and FWC it matches up roughly.

yea its tough doin only a few because the amount of chances these rich folks put in for...I think they oughta do like a 25 chance max for each hunt for each person so it would be a more of a level chance for everybody...but one way ya can look at it is ya are only out $20, I spoke to a guy out there that said a few years back he did $600 in chances and didn't get drawn...

Looks like the swamp and other central FL places will be very wet this year..I guess I'll start my scouting in August..
