Best Black Powder Buck to Date
Here is a pic of my best black powder buck to date. I was using a Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle .50 cal, .015" lubed patch, .490" Hornady roundball, and 100 gr Goex FFG. He came in following a doe around 15-20 yards. Shot him quartering to me hitting him between neck and shoulder and the ball exited the middle of rib cage on opposite side and he dropped on the spot.

Got him last Friday or Saturday I am starting to get my days mixed up between hunting and work...lol....I'm either hunting to much or working to much during hunting season....has to be work!

Great buck shooter50. I have used (other than a bow this year during the bow season) nothing but muzzleloader. I have other weapons that I have used in the past, but my muzzleloader is my go-to gun of choice. So far I have 17 deer notched on the handguard. I don't know if I will ever change unless I by another muzzy. I love it. As a matter of fact the 8 poiter tot he left I shot last year with my muzzy. I was 37 and it was my first 8.
