Seein as the FWC has approved higher antler restrictions in North FL and are lookin at other propositions looks as they are takin measures to improv e deer hunting throughout the state...hopefully this is a good sign we may get our Green Swamp hunt dates moved up this upcoming season...

Yea theres some good areas down off tanic and tram...only thing i dont like about huntin down on the south ends of them roads is come huntin season seems half the people huntin are huntin that river bed down through there gets a tad bit crowded but south of the river holds some far thick walk areas most wont go....Im gonna try to make it up there durin this fishin/froggin season n see what i can find

Hunting during the middle of the week ....you don't see many hunters.. I did see one stand at the Tanic area,,,,but I walked way past his stand.

My Tram spot is in a thick hammock...very far walk..saw no signs of hunters. So thick I placed tacks about every 10 feet...

I still plan to scout much more..I usually buy 500 tacks yearly and run out.
