Danny45,

Thanks for the offer, but I just couldn' t see myself rooting for the Sooners. Just like I could never bring myself to root for the Yankees (RedSox fan myself). And you know tagsoup doesn' t taste that bad, kinda getting used to it. Haven' t filled my elk tag in 3 years. As for them Sooners, unfortunately I think they are probably going to get it done this year. I don' t see anyone beating them even in a bowl game. They are so tough. Va Tech will lose to Miami, and it will end up OU vs Miami in the SugarBowl.

Mod70,

Didn' t mean to imply you were a bandwagon fan. Just saying that if I were to jump on I would be bandwagon. I know all about those OSU fans. I went through some training with some OSU alumn. As those cats were fanatic. Thats what I like about the Big XII. Everyone roots for their team, and sticks with them. I love Big XII football, I think it is one of the toughest conferences in the country. I probably just got all you SEC boys in a big fit. Oh well my Horns will continue on with the fight. We had a 2 loss season last year too. Hook Em!!!!!!!

Schemy: I know what you meant when you used the term " bandwagon" . No offence taken. That other school south of OKC has a toy wagon but I' m not for sure if they put their band in it. That would be hard for their little ponies to pull.lol

Hickman : For some reason these sooner fans won' t answer your question. Wonder why

Go Pokes.

Are you talking about the question that he answered himself? Or maybe you missed that part.

hmmm, let' s see. The difference between an OU fan, and a OSU fan. I' ll give it a try.

OU fan: I won' t say humble, ' cause we all know it' s hard to be humble when you' re a Sooner. So how about, loyal, proud, and willing to say that OSU played better than OU did the last two years.

OSU fan: Certainly not humble. (what was that term Schemy used? Fanatics!!, yeah, that' s it). And no matter what, OSU is the best team in the country!!!! (no matter how many games they lose).

Just a few years ago, even die hard OU fans admitted that OU football sucked. I was one of them. But that all changed when Stoops came to town. Problem with OSU fans, they haven' t admitted it even though it' s been true for a lot longer than OU.

Or was it the one I intentionally ignored, about how long had I been a OU fan?
Well I can clear that up now. How about 40 years? Long enough?

LOL Little wagon and ponies. One of the most recognizable mascots in the country. At least it' s real, unlike " Pistol Pete" .

While we' re on the topic, " Boomer Sooner" . Hmm, one of the most recognizable fight songs in the country too! Maybe it' s because it' s played soooooooo much from them scoring sooooo many times. I don' t even recall what the OSU song sounds like.

Anyway, this is fun, and though I have sparred back and forth with a couple of you, no harm meant. I can do that in fun, without getting bent out of shape.

Good luck to both OU and OSU tomorrow.

Well my Cowboys pulled off a squeeker today. For the likes of me I don' t know why they can score 8 out of 8 times and then change to offence to kill time and let the other team catch up. When they went to that 3 man front on defence I knew that Tech would come back. A win is a win no matter how sloppy it looks. Go Pokes

Well, OU did that same dang thing! 3 points in all the second half. At least they held Missouri to the same.

You' re right, a win is a win, but two days before the BCS comes out ain' t the time to have a let down.

Mod70,

Man your Cowboys pulled one out. Tech has a heck of an offense, but I think their defense would have trouble keeping an 8-man team out of the endzone.

Danny45,

Mizzou is tougher than a lot of people give them credit for. Plus not nearly the emotion to beat up on the tigers as there is to ravage my Horns.

I think if Bevo didn' t look like some pretty good sirloin, we' d have had a harder time with the horns.

Don' t count out the CANES!!! Any team can be beaten including the Sooners. The CANES found that out last year at the Fiesta Bowl. Of course, a little home cooking helps, right Buckeyes.
