I got a 6 at Phelps WMA this morning.....20 yard shot at 7:50....he made it about 40 yards. Pretty good start to the season. It was your typical (for Phelps) big bodied buck with a poor rack.

Nice deer Mitch and great shot! I only got to go out this am and didn't have any action at all other than a few squirrels. Beautiful morning and nice to be back in a tree though!

Nice deer Mitch, I was able to get out for the morning only but only saw a small doe for about 2 secs. Hoping to get out some more soon.

Saw 5 does on quantico, didn't shoot. Sure was nice to be out though! Tried out my new lonewolf setup, DEF LOVING IT!!!

Anybody have any luck seeing deer on Quantico I did not get a chance to get out Saturday or Monday what's Quantico looking like thous far I HATE the new phone system change is very very hard I like the old system better defiantly

Nice job Mitch! I was out in the evening and had does and a spike all over me. 12 deer total but the big does wouldn't come into range and the spike I drew on just to know I could have taken him. No harvest but a great first day out!!

Hunted Quantico Mainside this morning, saw a basket 6 point....let him walk. Waitin on the big boys! Having some pretty good luck thus far

Nice buck there! That will be some good eating. I got a 120lbs. doe on opening day in the evening. I hunt just down the river from Phelps, but across on the other side. Not too far from Kelly's Ford. Good luck to all you hunters.
