When does the rut start in Eastern Tenn. I will be coming from Maryland to hunt sometime this Fall and want to plan my trip around the rut. Any help would be great.

i live in middle tennessee. the rut starts here end of october and runs threw middle of december. east tenn rut is about the same time. i would hunt from november to december.the rut will be in full swing then. good luck

I live, hunt, video in East TN as well as video/hunt in other states. I would say I have always found that the best time to hunt around here is the last week of October. I have always had good luck during this time right on up through the last week of Nov.
