Well congrats to those that have harvested a deer. I have not yet this week but have been 4 times and seen around 20 or so deer and alot more turkeys. There were some bucks but offered no shots. I seen someone say this is a slow season for them, but this is actually the best start I have ever had up here. I wish you all the best of luck and I think things will heat up as the temp. drops.

thurs. i had grunted ina cowhorn spike, he had a soul of an 8 pointer, lol. passed on him, then on my way out, I did this amazing stalk onthis huge buck, he was about 85 yds. when I spotted him, out in the open, got to 35 yds. and my phone buzzzed, he wasn't looking so I hung up on who was calling, then i took a couple of steps and my phone started buzzing again.this time he put his head up, looked for a minute, then hauled butt....my phone is now OFF , even on my walk out of the woods...Fri. I went to another area,,,I saw nothing , hoping today will be the day...
