Default Virginia hunt clubs?

I was wondering if anybody in Virginia knew of any hunt clubs looking for new members. If so, let me know as I am eager to join up with a good outfit! [email protected].

If you locate a club looking for members check and see if you can go as a guest the first couple of weekends before you invest your money. Nothing like trying to hunt with a bunch of drunks, illegal hunters and those that want to stay up all night playing poker.

I' m in the Richmond area, but am not opposed to traveling. I used to hunt on a buddy of mine' s farm for years until he sold it and moved out West. The new people aren' t all that keen on people hunting their land.

Hey broey1,

I too am from Richmond (west end)!! Small world!

I' ve been interested in hunt clubs too. I mostly hunt the WMA' s (Amelia, Powhatan, and Chickahominy), but they are so crowded on weekends, it' s almost not worth it.

Yeah, I' m in Chesterfield.... small world, right. Yeah, I' ve hunted the Amelia WMA and Pochahontas State Park. All way too crowded & the deer are all run off in a couple of days. My buddy used to own a big place in Cumberland county..... it was deer heaven!! I' m not having much luck finding a club.

You guys should start checking the bulletin board at Greentop around August, as well as the Times-Dispatch Classifieds (I think they even have a separate section for hunt leases).

Hey, ButchA and Broey1, I can e-mail my sister and see if her husband' s group is looking to add a few new members. I am not familiar with the club, but I know it' s located somewhere in the Richmond/Petersberg area. Unfortunatly, I haven' t the foggiest idea as to where they hunt.

If you' re interested, pop me an email.
