Try this call and it is easy to make. get a STEEL can not aluminum. Like a green bean can etc. Put about 4 to 6 dried beans in it. Tape lid closed. Go into woods and rattle the can by twisting it vigourously (sp?). It sounds like a feeder and they will run in if there are feeders working in your area. I thought this was a joke till my Doctor friend built one and called in a little herd of females.

Have not had success with any call. They have scared hogs away though. The best call is the smell of something delicious. There are pages of favorite recipes on here. Good luck

I also agree!.................If you have not practiced and mastered the art of Hog Calling.............You will justscare more hogs away from you than you will ever see.

If you want to master the sounds of hog calling, purchase the Hog Caller and Instruction Audio Tape from Knight & Hale that explains what the sounds mean. You can listen to it as you go down the road in your vehicle. If you search the internet, you will find links withAudio hog sounds....

I can't say I have called them in, but have had them stop running and come to a stop after using a call.

I've had them answer..ONCE but did not come in..so I don't use calls for hogs..I may try tomorrow before I leave my spot sinceI know there are hogs in the area..but not until I'm ready to leave..I have no confidence in them..I have a Knight and Hale grunt tube for hogs.
