Who has some new info to post? Anyone hunt Monday or Tuesday?????? Opening day for BP this Sat, I have also taken off Monday to hunt.I hope the big boys will be out looking for some strange.

had a report of a young buck riding a doe. I saw two big bucks just before dark also in the bean field meeting up with the usual does that were out, unfortunatelyI didn't get a shot. I was shocked to see them as windy as it was yesterday. I also had a strange 7 pointer in my yard last night, his horns went straight up, I'm guessing 16 - 20 inches and had points coming off in various directions, looked stange.he then decided to lay down in the beans beside my house from 7:45 - 9:30 or so.

takingthe full 2 weeks off. Hopefully I will see something big.

saw two bucks sparring the other day, and another stomping around at does, they were young and the does didnt pay much attention. Heading out right now for an evening sit.

have not seen much rutting activity in nova this week. allthe bucks i have seen are by themselves or w/ other bucks. will be in Madison co this saturday for bp opener. have 200 acres that is prime. im hoping that a big boy shows.

I would have to agree with O2BEBOWHUNTING I haven't seen any buck with the does ether in nova. Does have been out walking around (front) but the bucks are on the other side of the property(back) (100 acres) hope they start to move a little more come first of NOV.

virginiashadow, I'm going out tomorrow morning to King George. I know of a tree that is going to get a few branches cut off hope to post some good news.

Things are picking up in NOVA!!!!!

Hunted last night. Saw a few doe's come in at first then a lone spike. A big 10pointer came in behind me but didnt give me a shot at all. He made a rub and scape.

Then it happened 120" 8 point came running down through the bottom chasing doe's around like a wild man. The 10 pointer watch but with an aggressive stance. Then the 10 piont started stomping at does near him, now these doe's arent in heat, but the bucks are getting warmed up, wouldnt be suprised to see the first doe go into heat this weekend or by mid next week. Halloween up hear has proven in the past as the first full day of chasing. Usually only one doe being chased by 8 bucks.

Last night when i got out of the stand there were a ton of deer in the fields and even some more good bucks. the bucks have been holding up until now. getting pumped!!!!

All this talk is getting me excited! Tmrw morning is going to be freezing cold and sunny.....I may have to break out the thermals!
