I did not know they put out food plots on WMA's in Florida. Does all the WMA's do that?

no, Citrus is the only one i've hunted that has. their deer heard was well below 500 on approximately 50,000 acres a few years ago (due mainly to poachers). now with proper management it is getting MUCH better. i think the food plots were put in place to help improve and re-establish the herd.

wow, thanx RH. i guess more W.M.A.'s than i knew do this. i've never located any food plots on some of the other W.M.A.'s that they list as having food plots.

I always loved to hunt Citrus WMA. For years I'd go for the special BP hunts. I usually was drawn every year for the hunts. Last time I hunted there was 1992. Then I started hunting in GA. Now it's to far away for me.
