it says that quota's are "tranferable" does that mean just giving the person the permit or is there something that you have to do????

This year they are transferable. Next year because not enough hunters got involved and voiced their wishesthey will not be transferable. They will have a new permit process at that time. Yes, you can give/trade your permit to someone else that has all theirWMA access and licenses and they can hunt with your permit and you can hunt with theirs.

2008-2009 Individual WMA Regulations and Maps
Use for planning purposes only - the dates and rules will not be valid until July 1, 2008
If the WMA regs were set for this year, would they have that tag in red? Anything can change, I do believe that they will change the 1st phase to non-transferrable, but as of right this second they are. We'll find out for sure on the 1st of July.
