I'm seeing if there is any intererst in getting the regional forums broken down into states or smaller regions. I believe the regional forums are too broad and it would serve us better to have them changed to state forums. If you feel the same contact HuntingNet and let them know. Thank you.
P.S. refugeforums.com has less than 15,000 members and all of their state forums have a good following. This site has 2 1/2 times as many members. Just some food for thought.

No, leave it as it is. There aren't enough post in the south forum as it is. I, for one, would like to see some of the forums combined to reduce the number of forums.

What I'm proposing I feel will bring more users to the various forums, because they will have a forum that relates to their specific needs in their state. Many hunters are not visiting these regional forums, myself included, because they can not relate to the broad nature of them. Vist Refugeforums.com , there they have their flyway forums broken down into states and it seems to attack a steady following for all the states. Maybe the same could work here.

Hey Lost,
Might work, but the biggest issue is not enough posts to justify it. Same as Timber said. I am ok with the number of forums, only because I use the "view new topics" instead of opening each forum.

Most of the users go to specific forums, such as Bowhunting, Deerhunting, Big Game, Off Season, Politics, Turkey, etc.. I do not see that Admininsration will want to expand the Regional forums, due to the low amount of posting here. It never hurts to submit your request though.
I, personally think that it is fine the way it is. I have never had a problem finding topics posted by my fellow Arkansans.

No, no need to break down.
But, if you are asking or making a state specific comment, just put the state abbreviation in the subject. Something like " VA - Know any good hotels" or something.

Good to hear from you. I' m over at the Refuge since, I do some waterfowling. Mostly on the Colorado forum there (sometimes visit shooting and big game), which is the only way I have found to keep in contact with fellow waterfowlers in my area, plan hunts together and keep up with local issues.

Leave it the way it is. I checked it out over there and Snapp is on there...No need to bring him in over here..... Not hard to figure out with the AR at the side that my Arkansas buddies are talking
