Dizzy is a very sweet girl. She is gentle. I was
informed by the shelter ACO that picked her up that
she was an abandoned hunting dog. I can't verify for
sure, but quite often the dogs in the rural county that Dizzy
was found in are abandoned after hunting season. If you would be interested in Dizzy, she would make awonderful pet for you and your family. Pleasecomplete an application at www.homewardtrails.org

thanks.

This is the post on Petfinder
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=9841233
send them aemail and complain about the ad,they will respond.
http://www.petfinder.com/publicreceptiondesk.htmlat bottom of page.

This is a ad from the same shelter
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/pet/579343261.html
craigslist rules for pets:[*]Household pets of any kind including but not limited to dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish. Re-homing with small adoption fee OK
this shelter charges $250. The county shelter where I live only charges around $100 and you get most of that back when you have the animal altered.

This is the shelter
http://www.homewardtrails.org/
if you can't adopt, you can sponsor a dog for $300/month or a cat $150/month?

I've seen a lot of animal rights activists and tree huggers post stuff like that on CL.
