CamoCop,

That is awesome, three deer!!! And one at Ocala that is suppose to have lower deer numbers. Congrats. I PM'ed you about your Quota at Citrus.

HuntingMa,

Like CamoCop said don't give up. Many places in FL have a great rut in late December. You have to be in the woods to get a buck!

Miller,

Glad you are seeing some deer. If you see does the bucks will show up. Good luck on the squirels. They are so much fun!

Cheers,
Chris

I have killed 1 doe and 4 bucks so far this year and hope to kill 1 or 2 more before it goes out. My friend called me the other day and told me that the bucks in the big bend area are starting to run does real hard again, so it sounds like the second phase on the rut is in and going strong up here. I have been hunting some of the biggest buck sign I have ever found anywhere maybe the ole boy will make a mistake and show up.
