We've hunted with dogs for years and years in Gulf Hammock. We hunt with Begals which have good noses and tend to tire out around mid-day or so after a good race. This makes them much easier to catch in the afternoon and you dont have them running across half the state. Last year they set aside a special part of the wma for still hunters only which I'm sure the dogs still run through but at least you wont have all the yahoos running tucks and 4 wheelers like mad men through there.

There's a member in the Religion forum by the name SnookyBusbee that is from that area andhunted there in the same era as I....He moved out west...
