Just wondering how y'all are doing. I managed to kill an 8pt right at daylight on opening day of bow season and a doe three days later. I aint seen many deer, just lucky enough to get some in bow range.

Opening of muzzleloader was a bust for us. It was way to hot and the deer just were not moving much. One of the guys in our camp took his 11 year old grandson though andhe killed a 350 pound black bear. Man that kid could not quit smiling! It was pretty cool.

i went openingb weekend of bowseason, got a shot at a doe from CLOSE,but felt like an idiot when my arrow hit a twig 3 ft from her and went right behind her butt, she was less than 15 ft from me, i was on the ground. but on a good note, im taking my 11 yr old daughter out for her first hunt as soon as she gets out of school for turkey day week.
