If you dont like dog hunting, then you better stay out of hickory mound. Or better yet taylor county, because we are serious about our dog hunting. Don't mean to be rude about it but I love deer dogging and don't like people to disrespect it. It's the traditional way of deer hunting in the south, and about 90% of ourresidents are houndsmen.

I didn't mean to offend anyone, andif I did I'm sorry.I was just beening honest because I have been in there duringgeneral gunseason. i am just use to beening attacked by still hunters who can't stand deer-dog hunting. I always remind them that if they don't like it, joina still hunting club. I pay my money to join aDEERDOG CLUB, and thatis whatis prioritize. I like to bow and muzzleload hunt in the cluband I usually harvesta good number of bucksthen, but general gun is dog running time.
I have a stand that is about 300yds from the hickory mound borderline that has 4 bucks that are 3pt or better. Hickory Mound and and Aucilla are both good places to hunt and I would be in there if I wasn't ina club.
