Hey guys...I've been wanting to start hunting hogs here in Arkansas...I was thinking about in the creek bottoms around our house. My neighbor went down there with me, and he said that it would probably be a good place to hunt hogs. I was wondering if anybody had any tips on what gun/ammo to use, any other gear, or any advice/tips on the sport.

There are some good sized hogs around the river here close to Russellville. I don't hog hunt, and I don't know much about it other than to find wallows (sp) and the hogs will be near by. You may run them with dogs if you can find a good pair. And for weapons, don't know about that either, except that I'd say, when it comes to hog hunting, it's better to have "too much than not enough." Good luck, let us know how you do.
