Default Outdoors Show in Virginia 2/16 - 2/18

Anybody going to either or the two outdoors shows in Virginia this weekend?

There are two oddly enough on the same days, about 35 mintues apart.

The "Western VA Sports Show" in Fishersville at the Augusta Expoland and "The Greater Virginia Sports & Big Game Show" at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg are the two attractions this weekend.

Went to the one in Harrisonburg...it sucked, dont go!
Not worth the price of of the ticket. I had two seperate people call me on my cell telling me not to waist my money when I was driving there. I should have listened and went home.

They have an artifical pond setup outside for kids to fish...HELLO!!! it February and 20 degrees out, the pond is frozen solid. Most of the activities were off limits to kids because they were being held in the beer sponsers tent and you had to be 21 just to get in.

An event advertised as a family friendly was anything but family friendly, I'll never go again. I would much rather go to the one in Harrisburg PA, which is much larger too.

I went to both. The one in Fishersville had the artificial pond set up inside, which definitely made more sense.

I had fun at both. Met some good people and spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money.
