if you do book with an outfitter in ky, i would look in the western part of the state first. dont be scared of a zone 2 county either, some of the biggest bucks have been taken in zone 2 counties this year, and the bulk of the big deer have come from western ky.

dont go to Bluegrass Bucks....... not a good exp....
no one in the whole camp was happy.... and the place was overbooked to boot! No Scent control tactics... pack 7-9 dudes, and their gear for the whole day in a van, then drive as far as 1.5 hrs away tohunt land..... can you picture that!!! 7 bows.. 7 packs... a couple climbers....it was silly!!!
Ourown fault for notdoing enough homework.....

I did see deer..... 17 total for four day/nights.... 14 were bucks for sure, two were at dark, they were bucks but not sure on size.....shooters probable backhome....
He charges 150.00 clams for anythingunder an eight point.....

There is a pretty good outfit in Sebree KY. Also, shoot me your contact information and more detail as to what you are looking for. I have a friend trying to get started with an outfitting srevice on 2,000 acres. Depending on the type of hunt you are looking for (bow/gun) and your desire for a DOI or fully guided, we may have something. Also, try kentuckyhunting.com. They could help too.

You will definitely want to keep it west of I-65. There are good deer in the east, but there are more good deer in the eastern part of the state.
