First welcome to the board. I have deer hunted in Alabama for about 37 or so years. We now hunt in the Troy area. The old full moon hindered the huntig this opening weekend, and I hope it improves soon. Plenty of deer and sign, probably too many deer in our area.

When does your season end? Here in Georgia it ends jan 1st where I am. Our rifle season has been open for a month or more now.
Is it true that in Alabama you can't use broadheads lighter than 100 grains? Someone said that in our archery shop and I thought he was just tring to get some people all worked up.
