Yep, I'm gettin desperate. I haven't connected on a good deer yet this year. I really wanna get one with my bow, it'd be my first ever, plus I think it'd be great to actually meet some of you guys. I live in Russellville and attend school in Conway. But if any of you guys could actually meet up and go hunting I'd be willing to drive if I could find a good date to do it. Maybe 3 or 4 of us could get together sometime and hunt...that would be tight. Deer hunt, duck hunt, who cares. Lemme know if yall're up for it.

Hey Froman, you know you have the invitation to come up here and hunt anytime. I am holding off on doing anymore bowhunting till gun season is over. I am hunting private land up here and you are welcome to come up and hunt it with me or the folks that own it. They don't let just anybody hunt it, but if I say it is ok, then it is ok. I just found a new spot to hunt that is loaded, can't wait for my next days off.
Sorry I didn't get back to you on your email, but yes, you were about 3 miles from me when you went to Harrison. Just North of Marshall 3 mi. is hwy 74, take that 3 mi. to county rd 36(turn right) and my place is the first on the right(50 yds after you turn), 65 Chevy piled with junk out front, and a red 87 S-10 and grey 91 Chev Cavalier wagon. Just let me know and we can work it out so I will be off work. I work 2 days and then off 2 days, so it should be easy to work this out. See ya soon!!
The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!
God Bless,
Dave

Come on up Fro,
I am taking the week of Thanksgiving off and have a stand for ya. Duck season will be open then, I normally get there before daylight, shoot a few ducks and then deer hunt the rest of the day. There is a doe coming out into one of my food plots every afternoon and I will put your name on her if you want me to but she will have to be taken with your bow, we can't kill does up here during gun season. I have seen six different shooter bucks so far this year, one got killed opening day of gun season but there are plenty left.
Let me know

mr4pt, unless I am mistaken, you cannot take a doe during the rifle season, even if you use your bow.

The bag limit for archery is the same as the statewide limit. During bucks-only firearms season, archery hunters are restricted to taking bucks. On WMAs closed during the modern gun season, archery hunters may take deer of either sex.

Ddust,
You are correct and after re-reading my post I see I didn't word that exactly right. What I meant to imply was that if he wanted to come up and hunt with a gun that there were plenty of good bucks up here but if he wanted to come up and get a deer with his bow (after gun season), I have a hot stand for him.
