I would look at some of the kistachia forest ground if i was you .i have a buddy that hunts it close to ruston,he does pretty good there every year.

It surronds part of our lease on 3 sides up by Corney lake. There is not a lot of pressure up there except maybe 2 weeks out of the season when the coon asses come up and commence WWIII. Other than that it is pretty much open. If you need some help, let me know and I can give you some directions to where hardly anyone hunts.

I know what you mean about the coonies.It helped us out alot when they started to open tghe doe days on the same weekend.I used to be terrified when they showed up.I took some guys with me about 6 years ago,when i got back to one guy he was lying flat on the ground scared to death.
