With this latest cold front that has moved in the rut should start kicking in. Please post any signs you have seen of the rut.
I am around the Locust Grove area. I have found very few scrapes even.

I watched a small six pt run 11 does and fawns off a field tonight. The does didn't want anything to do with him. About 10 minutes later they returned like nothing had happend. I never seen him again. I have found a few active scrapes this last week. It won't be long by the way things look.

I hunt South of Enid and things are picking up. Tue evening watched a buck chasing a doe and had a decoy set up with a little doe juice on her, brought the buck right in with his nose up. Seen two more bucks but they are a little wiser, hoping they start thinking with their little head soon.
