Turkey Tips*
Ok want some TURKEY TIPS well here you go.
1.>The South's mountain turkeys typically roost in evergreens just below the peaks of mountais. Depending on the elevation, those evergreens will be spruces, hemlocks or some species of pine.
2.> Flats or benches ( long, levelareas that run parallel to the sides of mountains)are marvelous places to set up. Gobblers love to strut here and hens like to feed here.
3.> Be agressive. This agressiveness is necessary because given all the coves, ridges and saddles that characterize eastern mountains, you will have little chance to even hear a gobble let alonecall him in unless you have set up fairly close to his position.
