good luck on which ever you choose, i pay $1000 to lease 100 acres a year, and hate to pay that, but love the outdoors,& hunting,so it you've got to spend, go for it.

well...this will just make you mad....but South Texas is the best place to deer hunt, hog hunt, varmit hunt, quail hunt, and Rio Turkey hunt in the US......(here's the sickening part).....I have a buddy, who's sons and my son, are best buds.........( his are 17 and 15, mine is 14)..they own about 19,000 acres in Zavala county ..all brush country...not a building on it....just gates, and tanks, and critters...large and small........we have been hunting there for the past 6 yrs..i just pay for transportation and my and my sons license.....SPEND the money and go.........trust me when I say...you'll start looking for a second job , to pay for it the next yr......
