i just got back from fl and had a real good time hunted with my cousins like we used to do as kids and shot 2 good meat hogs about 100-120lbs each and filled a cooler with squirrels with help. the old trusty rusty 30-30 droped the hogs in their tracks. all in all i have had a real good season in nc and fl one 8 point deer one bear 300+lbs and 2 hogs plus a frezer full of squirrels

congrats on your year. i've never hunted bear, i would like too. one things for sure, they need to open a bear season soon here in florida...we're overrun with'm! if the state would remove their head from their rear they could see this!

use to be able to hunt them in osceola national forest can you still hunt them there? i have been out of state for 11 years now and i did not start to hunt them untill i moved to nc i dought that the state will ever remove their head just look how they mess up the salt water fishing

i wish my season were about like yours my goodness!!!
i was supposed to be going up to nc to do some bear hunting but the guy who owns the land ended up going through a divorce so we let him alone until maybe next year.

your cousins. That's some of my fondest memories as a kid.

Sounds like you have had a great season.What part of FL do you go to.I stay in OPP AL for hunting and than go down towards Panama City and Mexico Beach the Pan Handle of Fl.Congrats on your season

• Migratory game birds - ducks, geese, common moorhens, coots, snipe, rails, woodcocks, mourning doves and white-winged doves.
• Protected mammals - Florida black bears, fox squirrels and Florida panthers cannot be taken or pursued.
