Kind of a late post, but I just joined thought I'd drop a line. Live outside of Cabot, hunt three different locations: my back yard, private spot near Winona and belong to a lease south of Malvern.

I'm from Baton Rouge. I started visiting Mtn. View about 10yrs ago and fell in love with the area. 2 yrs. ago I bought a lot on the White River at Marcella from Patrick Stair. Email me at charles cyriaque @ yahoo.com and I'll send you some pics of it.
I had Scott Stewart build a wooden portable building that I use as a primitive cabin when I go up there. I plan to go again for New Year's eve. The area is a real throwback to the 1950's. I love the music around the courthouse square.

I'm from Corning, in far NE Arkansas, near the Missouri Bootheel. Mostly small, wooded areas here and open fields. Crowley's Ridge runs through here and sees alot of action, along with Black River WMA, although it's usually flooded for ducks. I am new to deer hunting, hunted small game all my life, and took up recurve bow hunting because the gun season is so short here! Have yet to kill my first, and i'm in my mid-30's! Never too late to start, right? Just wanted to say howdy!
