any one know when the rut is in ky

most of the time it hits the 2nd or 3rd week of november here in southeastern ky

i think it may be the 3rd -4th week when they start tending does.

I've noticed that the rut where i hunt in central ky tends to be different every year. It's always in a span of very late october to anytime in november, usually gun season is about the time you start seein lots of chasing though.

The best time for using calls and scents are the first of Nov. This is when the seeking phase is at its height. Also the first of Nov. is the best bowhunting time of the year.
