barbour county has a three point rule,it has been in effect for a few years on the management area with good results,i'm sure it'll make the price of leased land go up.

Land lease prices are going up every year regardless of the 3 point rule in all areas. Biggest problem facing the clubs/individuals in leasing the lands is that the paper companies are selling off a lot of their acerage. Bunch of land in Bullock and other counties in your area coming up soon.

timbercruiser, land is going up, i had around 700 acres for$6.00 an acre. it went to $12 an acre and had to rent the old house, i let it go a and got in a club in dale co. around 2000 acre for $650 a year, we're looking for a few more member, anyone interested send me an e-mail for details
