RE: hog restriction
WELL ASIAN THE ONLY THING YOU NEED IN TEXAS IS A GENERAL HUNTING PERMIT. YOU CAN PICK UP A TEXAS RULE GUIDE WHERE YOU GET YOUR PERMIT. BUT THERE IS NO BAG LIMIT AND NO REAL RESTRICTIONS AT ALL ON HOGS AS THEY ARE NOT A GAME ANIMAL AND ARE CONSIDERED A PROBLEM ANIMAL. WHERE ARE YOU IN TEXAS I AM IN TEXAS ALSO AND TAKE PPL HOG HUNTING.

RE: hog restriction
Once you get here you will be a resident of Texas, your licence fee will come down a huge amount. Then you can take them anyway you want any time of the day any time of year. You will find though that in the great state of Texas much of the land is private rather than BLM like out west. You then end up having to find access to a hunting area. This is typically done by leasing access rights to a patch of dirt. To some it seems unfair but it is nice to sit in a hunting spot and not have to see or hear bunches of other hunters crapping up your hunt.

Yes you need a hunting license. Restrictions? Yes, how many you can put in your truck. LOL. No really they are listed as non game so unless the land owner limits you, you can shoot as many as you want. Just watch your step with them
