Need help from guys in TX
#1
Okay people in Texas. I booked a hog hunt for July 21-23 in a place called Caddo Texas. Its 70 miles west of Fort Worth. I bought my license online real smooth, but Im 16 and I need to have a hunters education card for Texas. I know you can do it online but that seems like it would take longer than just doing it there. So does anyone know a place I can take it in Texas near Caddo I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Jake

If you take the hunters ed where you live it will be A LOT easier for you, the hunters ed classes out here are held on the weekends and it covers two days....totaling 14hrs Texas TPWD will recognise you out of state hunters ed...
Whats the name of the outfit you are booking with???

Some states require you to have the hunter ed card and the completion certificate if you are out of state. The conflict usually comes from states that have a seperate bow and gun hunter ed course. Good luck ! Lookin foward to seein some pics.

Don't plan on finding much in Caddo. The nearest real towns around here are Breckenridge, Graham, and Mineral Wells, and there's probably not going to be anywhere to get your hunters ed. certificate there, either. The guy in Breckenridge only teaches it once a year (spring I think), and I missed it so I had to go to Ft. Worth to get it. BTW, I'd take Tuffbroadhead up on his offer (they do have some good places to eat). Good luck and good hunting.
