Wow.... Woodfin is gone?!?! Incredible news!!!!! [8D] See, I kind of thought things would, you know, get swept under the rug. But, they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar and paid the price. JUSTICE IS SERVED!!!

JUSTICE IS SERVED!!!
Not only is Woodfin gone, but DGIF is confident it can most, if not all, of the auditor's change recommendations within the year.
Virginia's a great state to both live and hunt in, but only if our government officials do their jobs without sticking it to the people they work for. Hopefully DGIF will get back on track.

Wow.... Here's more, VA Hunters....
It's pasted all over today's Richmond Times-Dispatch!:

You can also click/download a huge (4.7MB) Adobe Acrobat .pdf file of the whole auditor's report! These guys got way too big for their britches, IMHO, and got caught red handed.
Edit: Whoa guys.... I just went back on the internet and downloaded that big Adobe Acrobat file. It's 64 pages long and is a scan of the documented report, with a some things crossed out in black magic marker (probably classified info, privacy act, etc...).
So far, I'm on page 16 of 64 and am just sitting here like...

I printed it out yesterday and read it last night after having jaw surgery. It provided a little bit of levity to my situ. I could not believe what they were doing. Two down and now they need to can Caison and Bradberry as well. These guys, all they did was basicaly just steal from us fellow hunters hat paid their salries. A$$HOLES. They (VDGIF) will need to do a lot to regain the confidence of the VA sportsman.

I don't know if you guys do much fishing, but if you do you are familiar with the trophy fish (citation) program. Do you remember when if you were lucky and got a trophy fish that you didn't have to pay for your award. Now you have to send in $4.00 to get a piece of paper I think it was turned into a money maker and has rubbed me the wrong way for years.
