coon trapping

Default coon trapping

i have been trapping for s coulpe of weeks now and when i when to check my trap the trap was all mudd and the coon was dead inside i set it right next to a creek and there where noe teeth marks on it i don't see how it died

What type of trap ?
Could the water have come up and drownd the coon .
Maybe a heart atack ??

how long was the coon in the trap? Do you have a lot of distemper in your area? Been picking up alot of sick coon around here lately.

I have had one kick the bucket right in front of me as I was going to dispatch it. It was all worked up and I assume it had a heart attack.
