If you use an Air gun or 22lr on head shots,
Fry them like Spicy Southern Fried Chicken.
OR,
Bake them in the oven with, some cajun spicies, some onions, some green peppers
some potatoes and alittle olive oil. Serve with rice...Goooood Eating!

RE: FIRST SQUIRREL
I took my fist squirrel with the exact same airgun. An old-school Crosman 760 pumper. It was a ground squirrel, and I tagged it from about 20 yards also. Clean heart shot. So, what type of pellet did you use, and how many pumps? I used to pump mine 15 times (I modified the valve seals) for hunting, and used Copperhead pointed field pellets. Now I use a high-powered European spring-piston rifle (A Gamo Shadow 1000 with a sling, bipod, and 3-9x32 AO scope), and RWS Super Hollow Point field line pellets. I also have a Crosman 1377c 600 fps pistol that likes RWS Super points, which I use for portable suburban hunting. Anyways, airguns rule because you can hunt all the areas that are beyond off limits to rifles, shotguns, and even archery. I can hunt local fields, washes, small hills, parks, and even my own yard, lol. Plus I can keep my airgun in the cab of my car legally because my state's firearm laws don't apply to it. Anyways, nice shooting, and keep up the good work.
