I usually use canned cat food or a couple pounds of raw chicken livers. Anything that smells like dead animal will work. during deer season id hunt over deer gut piles. something that works good is you can get these motorised decoys that look like a rabbit rocking back and forth those do a really good job getting a yotes attention and a can of cat food near by helps with the scent part of attracting them

The land owner where I trap muskrats told me to dump all the carcasses in one spot for yotes. So I know that rotting muskrats bring em in.

We either try to get a rabbit that afternoon or buy a can of sardines and set it out to get real ripe before setting up

I hunt yotes out behind a horse barn and we recentally had a horse die of old age and drug him up through the feild and they have one side gone along with the ribs and guts. They like that.

I live on the coast and we fish mackrel in the summer and you can catch a 5 gallon bucket a day in the summer and i wrap and freeze them to use in the winter to keep the yotes off of the deer.

Dead cows, pigs, and deer work awesome. Cow is my favorite cuz you can put out a couple thousand pounds at once and you dont have to keep checking it. just put it out and go back in a couple weeks when the wind is right and shoot em up.
