can you hunt coon ant night without dogs?

I have talked to people who call them in with a preditor call. I guess they can't turned down a free meal. I know the call they used was a bird in distress. Here in NY we can hunt at night but you can only use a .22 LR or shot gun with nothing larger in size than # 4's.

i am a hunter in sc and have looking in to the predator call they have a good selection of calls in magazines i lok at

use a coon fight tape, brings em in real good

if u know an area where there is an abundant amount of coon.use a coyote howler and the coon will usually climb the nearest tree.when they do this use a red lense on a light and scan the area and look for there beatty lil eyes.

I've got a rechargeable spotlight. I just go out and walk the creeks till the battery runs dry, looking for eyes.
