what is a good range for an average 17 cal,,hmr,,,while hunting squrrils????

A Buck 50 or less my friend, 150 yards or less you will be fine.

a buck 50 is 150 yds such as a buck 1.00 is 100 plus 50 is 150 yards not a buck deer
