i have a hay bale wall set up behind my target. i set it all on pallets to keept it off the ground and so it would sit nicer..i have the hay bales at a 90degree corner. i have 6 bales. 4 on the bottom 1 on each top side. i need 2 more for the top..1 bale wont stop it...i have my target propped up on the 3rd pallet that sits on the 2 back pallets. heres the only pic i have...i cover it all with a tarp when im not shooting and take my target in the shed..i just dont want that cotton in the bag to get wet though they claim to be weather proof..try wetting a bag and let me know what happens! lol

Here is something that might help, works for me. formy yardage markers i took some steel rod 3/8" cut to 12" and took some large washers welded to the top of the rod. paint flouresent orange and put these flush in the ground at your yardages you like to shoot. you can mow grass right over the top of em. good luck on the range

bloodcreek..good call i forgot about yardage marking. i drove in the cheap metal L shaped tent spikes into the ground with orange marking tape wrapped on the top piece. lawnmower doesnt bother them and they are easy enough to see, but dont stand out so the rest of the family isnt bothered by them. i got 15-40yds marked..every 5 yards.
