Default Running beagles

Any of you take your beagles out to chase a few rabbits lately? We had a cool day last week and I grabbed my pack and took them out and let them chase some rabbits. Just gotta be careful they don't get into the nests.

Default RE: Running beagles

i run our beagles everyday but this time of the years we go up on the hill a little farther. mostly to get away from the rabbits and the nests. it's more for a workout that doing any chasing. you can tell when your dog is on a rabbit with a litter. this is when they make those giant loops and most of the time they will not bring the dog back at all. if you run your dogs much you will already know the areas where the bunnies hangout and i just stay out of the areas. it is very easy to lose a dog this time of the year. see yaa
