RE: Why no varmint hunters???
I hunt varmints along with predators and rabbits. Summer time I'm out shooting PD's and rockchucks. This time of the year it's coyotes and rabbits.
Around here the rabbits get in the rocks and sun themselves. It's alot like hunting/shooting rock chucks. It's long range shooting too, up the 300 yards.
After a morning of calling coyotes I'll find a pile of rocks and start glassing. If I can find a rabbit and can get a head shot with my 223 I'll pop him.
A couple of weekends ago a buddy and I got 44 in a weekend.

well the hares taste like crap up here IMO and red squirells are worse! Parka squirells were ok but not worth loosing a quiver full of arras for. Now the grouse, then we'll talk <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>!
Heck I posted a fox post and barely got a response!
