    I have a chance to buy a Ruger 1B in 220 Swift. Is this a good rifle? In general how accurate are they?

    i can't give you any info on the 1b but the 220 swift is a very good varmint/predator rifle,fast and flat.go to www.reloadbench.com click on "enter here" then click on "cartridges and reload data" then click on "rifle cartridge(history& info)"scroll down to the 220 swift,this will tell you all about the cartridge.

    The 220 swift is a very good round and I am a huge fan of Ruger No. 1's so I would have to say buy it.
