Whoa it's getting quiet in here! My freezer is stuffed with venison, to the point that the site of red meat is turning my stomach. Tomorrow is forecast to be unseasonably warm with very little wind. A perfect day to get some tree chickens!

Same here, been deer hunting the last couple of weeks. I took two and my grandson took one, all does. But the really good news is I got a call from a guy the other day who gave me hunting access to a 180 acre pecan grove, wanted to know if I would like to come thin his squirrels population for him.:woot::woot:

Keep piling them up boys. School, work, family, and extra second is either running or in the treestand for deer. Rifles season next two weeks I'll be out 6 days total throughout the season between ohio and PA. But after that I may be able to shoot a few more tree rats.

I've been out deer hunting last couple weekends got a button buck with my shotgun thought it was a doe and a doe with my boss still waiting for a big buck but next weekend might go get some squirrels

With school and everything else I have been unable to get out at all. Looking to change that this weekend and pull my weight on team 3.

In January I'll get back somemore, depending on weather. One more deer tag to fill. I don't mind freezing for a deer, but not for a squirrel...

I was planning on heading out last Saturday, but someone passed away on the wife's side and took the Saturday away. No need for for sorrow, I never knew this person, but was dragged kicking and screaming anyway.
Plan on trying again this Saturday. Sorry Team 3, I'm trying with little to no luck.

When does this thing end, we are into 2016

Our season in Minnesota goes till February 28 th but I don't know about other states

I went out yesterday and killed a nice fox squirrel with the 10/22, was half way through cleaning it up an remembered taking a pic for on here...oh well, if it doesn't count so be it. I'm probably done for this season, its hard to sneak up on them now with no leaves. The one I did get thought I didn't see it..

Well today was the last day the season here. I went out from noon until 5 and didn't even see a squirrel. It was still nice being in the woods on such a perfect winter day.
