Our season is open. Went out this morning. it was real quiet in the woods. Spent about 4 hours out there, didn’t see or hear one. Bird activity seemed minimal as well. A thunderstorm went through shortly before dawn. I’m guessing that had something to do with having all the critters holed up.

I wont go out until the weather gets a bit colder. Went out opening day one season and got fleas.... Never do that again.

Season doesn't start until 9/1 here... got some flu-flus and g5 small game heads on a few arrow shafts, going to try my luck popping them out of trees with my recurve this year.

I'm going to be ticked if I get them all stuck up in branches though, lol.
