204 Ruger for Coyotes

The .204 has similar ballistic performance to the .22-250 but uses 1/3 less powder, admittedly with a smaller pill !

Brilliant contribution to the forum thus far, kudos. 4 posts in a single thread, 3 of them bringing nothing but insults. Take your own advice, you're a bit tightly wound, my friend.

Thanks especially to NoMercy and to RidgeRunner for exhibiting a lot of patience. As you can see, I've "moderated/edited" somebody else's inappropriate comments and somebody now has a 2-week timeout. Hopefully he reads the rules and follows them when he comes back as further violations will result in a longer time out up to and possibly including the dreaded permaban.

It never ceases to amaze me how folks can trash a rifle cartridge by what they have saw, sure the 204 at its best (a load it likes with a good bullet) will shoot rings around a 223 that's not at it's full potential, however, if they would have seen Richard Mathewson take his 223 contender carbine on that June day in 1999 and kill a prairie dog at 1,115 yards it would give them something to think about. They just can't lose the mentality of "If I can't do it it can't be done"
