Dove Whistle

RE: Dove Whistle
Might ask that question in the " upland bird" forum, maybe someone can help ya there. But, while I at it, I got to say this, find the right food or water source and there is no need for a dove call of any kind.

I have to agree with Howler
Plinker;
First of all this so call dove whistle is a bunch of crap. It' s another gimmick that someone came up with to get your money. Dove' s don' t call others to bring them to food or water. Their cooing is a way of courting with the female. And it' s the male that does all the cooing. Beside when the dove season opens most of the breeding is already over. Save your money, find out where the dove' s are feeding and watering. Bring a lot of shells, and enjoy the action.
