I did some schooling in Pennsylvania and know there are some regulations about shooting near houses. I certainly wouldn't let anyone shoot one of my guns without checking about the legality first. It could get confiscated if the law got violated.
What I think also needs said is that there's something questionable about simply opening a door to a house and unloading on a squirrel with a gun that will blow it to bits. It starts to bump into concepts of fair chase, waste of game, etc. and it might give antihunters something to use against us. It would be easy for an antihunter to portray it as simply ruthless, bloodthirsty killing to the public.
