What to bait armodillos with?

Default What to bait armodillos with?

I'm using a cage trap to catch an armodillo,what should i use for bait???

Cant shoot around his house,to many houses,(he lives like 5 or 6 miles from my house),he asked me,but i dont know.He tried lettuce,but still nothin.

I googled armodillo bait and they said worms, maggots and the like in a panty hose hung from the back of the cage and/or cabbage but it wasn't guarrenteed to work.

Armadillos are insectivores and will scavenge nests for eggs.

I'd try some prebroken up raw eggs, and a dish of live mealworms. You can get them for a buck at pet stores, and they cant climb. Put them into a small dish and they'll stay put.

They love the cheapest Can dog food you can buy.
I used to have 2 as pets and they went hog wild with dog food.
