Lookin for a trapline pistol

RE: Lookin for a trapline pistol
I have a Ruger Single Six with interchangeable .22LR or .22WMR cylinders. Very nice pistol for around $350.
A lot of folks carry the Heritage Arms Rough Rider Revolver that also has interchangeable .22LR and .22WMR cylinders. They aren't as nice as the Ruger, but they are useable and generally can be found for under $200 if you shop around. Less if you only get the .22LR cylinder.

RE: Lookin for a trapline pistol
Why would you need anything more that a lr to dispatch anything?? I got a mark1 and 2 and i still keep going to a ruger single six that my grandpa gave me. Got 2 different cylinders for it...mag and s-l-lr. All i carry are shorts and longs. Why make a mess if you dont have to

Smith and Wesson actually distributes Walthers in the USA. I got my Walther P22 Saturday. I shot crappy federal ammo through it, I never had a jam or malfunction, it is fairly accurate. I had 3 inch groups at 50 yards, which is good enough for me.
